New for 2006 we are now accepting applications from clients wishing to expand their knowledge of horse ownership. During the year Sarah Campbell will be conducting BHS I and II stage courses, along with horse ownership courses.

Courses will consist of 1 hour per week evening class during which you will undertake the theory instruction and 1 hour per week during which you will undertake the practical side of the course requirements.

Evening classes will be held in Aviemore and Newtonmore thus providing a convenient location for all participants, all practical work will be at our centre in Newtonmore and will be held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Prices will be finalised in in March 2006.

BHS Stage 1

This course covers all basic stable management including stabling, feeding, grassland management, fitness, health and safety and basic riding requirements.

BHS Stage 2

This is a progression on stage 1 and can only be attended following completion of stage 1.

This course comprises of a higher level of theory and practical education.
